Friends Patty (Calgary) and Deb and Jan (Toronto) spent a delightful time at the store making Regaliz bracelets to commemorate their Sanibel vacation! The bracelets turned out beautiful and reflected their individual styles! Leather colors: Pistachio, Burnt Orange, Black and Dark Brown. |

Katie from Virginia made this beautiful necklace featuring a scallop shell flanked by 8mm Swarovski crystals and gold-tone heishi spacers on 1mm leather cord. This is a unique necklace because the natural etching on the shell is in the shape of Katie's intial. Katie and Richard are longtime customers and have become dear friends. We love it when they bring their tiny Yorkie "Precious" to visit us!

Ian B. of Ohio made 17 olive bracelets to give
away as gifts. (Wow, lucky recipients!) Ian said he found the olive shells just rolling in the surf by the Sanibel Lighthouse. The shells were all open at the tip which allowed him to insert 2mm brown leather cord through the shell. He used large-hole pewter spacers and brown Czech glass beads as accents. |

Ian also made this beautiful shell
and Czech glass butterfly bead
necklacefor his girlfriend. It features our popular sterling silver dolphin clasp, which he chose to keep the necklace's "nature" theme. Ian's olive bracelets and shell necklace are truly one-of-a-kind creations! We have a wide variety of coastal-themed findings that complement the beautiful shells found on Sanibel and Captiva.

Leigh S. of Cary, IL, was inspired by our Sanibel Dream Catcher design. It features Vintaj brass findings and seahorse charm also from this line. She incorporated her own Sanibel/Captiva shells and gave the pendant a splash of color using a Miyuki seed bead mix and Czech glass beads.

Trent and Tammy of Lighthouse Point, FL, stopped by the store to look for unique beads. Tammy fell in love with a Paua shell pendant and Trent made a Regaliz bracelet featuring the sea-themed charms from this line. It took him less than 30 minutes to create this design! Regaliz (which is Spanish for "Licorice") is one of our newest lines and has quickly become popular with both men and women because of its thick leather cording.

Tania O. of Switzerland was inspired by the Olive shell bracelet design featured in our Customer Gallery. She used large-hole spacers and amber-colored Raku beads as accents. We offer a large variety of Raku bead colors, shapes and sizes. With color names like "honey dew" and "raspberry sherbert", these beads look good enough to eat! |

This customer created a freshwater pearl
necklace with an orange scallop shell as the focal pendant. Because freshwater pearls are generally pre-drilled with minute holes, Softflex wire in size .010 dia. was used as the stringing material. She also made tropical earrings using large, white clam shells which she suspended on light-weight French hook earwires.

The customer who created this figurine came to our store looking for just three beads to create the puppy's eyes and snout. We recommended 4mm Swarovski round crystals which were perfect! The exquisite quality of these beads gave the puppy a twinkle in its eyes, while the sheen of the crystal made his snout look wet. So realistic! We offer a large selection of loose Czech glass beads which are perfect when you just need a few beads to complete a project. |

These honeymooners stopped by the store to spend time together making jewelry. Among the pieces the couple made was this dainty necklace. The seahorse pendant was made of Mookaite Jasper and was supended on 2mm brown leather cording. Because the pendant was side-drilled, we helped her attach it to the leather cord using wire-wrapped loops. The loops were then attached to sterling eyes from two hook & eye clasp sets. Jewelry making is not only fun, but can also be so romantic! |
